At the latest race in Smith Falls, the Netcruzer RC team unveiled their beastly new machine, the Exotech F1 Ultra R5. This mean racing monster comes with some upgrades, like a tweaked chassis and a repositioned battery for that extra oomph on the track. Despite initial concerns about flexibility, the car handled like a dream, showing off its impressive steering and traction. The team tinkered with battery options, settling on a 4,000 battery for the main event, where they faced a challenging race due to the merging of A and B mains.
In a stroke of misfortune, a painting mishap left the team with a rather ghastly green body color, soon to be replaced with a more fitting F1 livery. Mechanical gremlins reared their ugly heads as the spur gear stripped on the first lap, leading to a frantic scramble to find a replacement. Despite these setbacks, the team pushed forward, ready to tackle the main race head-on.
